Live Interview with David de Rothschild 2010, Sydney
Sally boarded the PET-bottle-hulled PLASTIKI before it sailed from Sausalito CA to Sydney Australia and wrote several articles on the design and ecology of the pioneering vessel. Sally was in Sydney when the PLASTIKI sailed in some four months after leaving the USA. Sydney University asked Sally to conduct a live interview with David de Rothschild, eco adventurer and one of National Geographic's official "Emerging Explorers" on stage at the Seymour Center. This interview was filmed by ABC and can be found here.
ABC TV New Inventors program
Sally originally appeared as an inventor on this popular Australian weekly show. In 2005 she appeared with her HOG modular tank (link to Sally's Inventor profile). The next year she was invited to return to the show as a panelist with expertise in design, sustainable materials, architecture and vehicles. Since then Sally has made regular judging appearances on the weekly show and on several of the Grand Finals including 2009 and 2010.
